For minds that keep asking.
Progress depends on people willing to examine what others overlook. At RESTOCORP, chemists, engineers, and research specialists work together to extend the useful life of materials—and reconsider the limits of their performance.
Our current research opportunities are based within Lab X71, where rigorous methods and an open mind carry equal weight.

Research Theorist, Archaeoastronomy & Biophysical Systems
Historical Astronomy · Gravitational Research · Material Entropy · Full-time · On-site
Develop theoretical frameworks connecting historical astronomical observations with biological periodicity, gravitational influences, and entropy in complex materials. This interdisciplinary appointment supports Lab X71’s investigation of recurring patterns across archival records and contemporary laboratory studies.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate historical star charts, observatory records, and accounts of unusual biological or material phenomena, accounting for provenance and observational uncertainty.
- Model potential relationships between gravitational cycles, biological rhythms, and changes in material order, stability, and degradation.
- Develop testable hypotheses concerning entropy, structural memory, and apparent reversals in material aging; distinguish physical mechanisms from coincidental patterns.
- Collaborate with bioelectric and materials teams to compare archival event sequences with controlled experimental observations.
Candidate profile
PhD in theoretical physics, biophysics, astronomy, or a related field, with demonstrated interdisciplinary research. Strong grounding in gravitation, thermodynamics, and statistical mechanics is required. Experience interpreting historical scientific records and biological systems is highly desirable.
Working environment
Controlled-access laboratories, collaborative technical review, and structured research protocols. Selected projects require confidentiality agreements.
Applicants should be comfortable investigating a pattern that was documented centuries before the instruments capable of measuring it.

Clinical Facilities Custodian — Residential Assignment
Laboratory & Clinical Facilities · Full-time · On-campus residency required
Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of Lab X71’s clinical research spaces, observation rooms, and controlled-access corridors. This residential assignment supports a campus where research continues outside standard operating hours.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled cleaning and disinfection in accordance with approved clinical protocols.
- Maintain cleaning logs, supplies, and waste segregation within assigned areas.
- Coordinate room access with clinical staff and report unexpected occupancy or changes in room condition before beginning work.
- Remain available for scheduled overnight and early-morning coverage while residing on campus.
Candidate profile
Prior custodial or environmental-services experience in a hospital, clinic, or comparable clinical setting is required. Familiarity with infection-control procedures, PPE, and confidential environments is essential. Candidates must be willing and able to live in assigned on-campus accommodation for the duration of the appointment.
Working environment
Controlled-access laboratories, collaborative technical review, and structured research protocols. Selected projects require confidentiality agreements.
A room marked vacant is not automatically released for cleaning. Always wait for the shift supervisor’s confirmation.

X71-041 / LAB X71Research Scientist, Cardiac Bioelectric Signaling
Electrophysiology & Signal Analysis · Full-time · On-site
Research Scientist, Cardiac Bioelectric Signaling
Electrophysiology & Signal Analysis · Full-time · On-site
Study the electrical patterns that coordinate cardiac activity and their interaction with proprietary conductive materials. This role supports Lab X71’s work in signal preservation, low-amplitude detection, and recovery following extended interruption.
Key responsibilities
- Characterize electrical signatures in controlled tissue models and distinguish genuine activity from instrument noise.
- Develop repeatable methods for capturing weak, intermittent, and delayed signals.
- Maintain continuous observation records across designated study windows.
Candidate profile
PhD in bioengineering, biophysics, electrophysiology, or a related field. Experience with signal processing, sensitive instrumentation, and carefully documented laboratory research.
Working environment
Controlled-access laboratories, collaborative technical review, and structured research protocols. Selected projects require confidentiality agreements.
A quiet trace is an observation, not a conclusion. Candidates should be comfortable allowing the full monitoring interval to elapse.

Senior Research Chemist, Tissue Rejuvenation & Matrix Restoration
Regenerative Materials Chemistry · Full-time · On-site
Develop experimental chemical systems that support the structural integrity and functional recovery of aged biological matrices. The program investigates preservation, material compatibility, and the possibility that degradation need not be permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate experimental matrices, stabilizing media, and surface treatments in approved laboratory models.
- Study changes in elasticity, permeability, and interface conductivity over extended observation periods.
- Document unexpected restoration events and prepare findings for independent review.
Candidate profile
PhD in chemistry, biomaterials, polymer science, or a related discipline, with experience in analytical characterization and biological material compatibility.
Working environment
Controlled-access laboratories, collaborative technical review, and structured research protocols. Selected projects require confidentiality agreements.
Applicants should distinguish between a specimen that has ceased to change and one that has reached its final state.
